Screening of Voices from El-Sayed at New York Rooftops Films Summer Series

Voices from El-Sayed is a feature length documentary about a Bedouin village in the Negev desert that has the largest percentage of deaf people in the world. The movie is a current social portrait of Israel depicting the story of this unique community of Bedouin deaf people.

Voices from El-Sayed has had great success in its screenings in the US in May 2009 winning the Guggenheim Emerging Artist Award in the prestigious FULL FRAME Documentary Film Festival. The movie is also having great success in Israel with over 40 screenings throughout the country.
