The Inter-Agency Task Force on Israeli Arab Issues, in partnership with Dor Chadash, held a special evening about the "Realities, Opportunities, and Challenges Facing the Bedouin Citizens of Israel". The evening featured:

• A discussion with Attorney Rawia Aburabia, Former Director of Yedid's community rights center in the Bedouin city Rahat and lecturer for Israel's Ministry of Justice on the issue of the Arab minority in Israel
• A viewing of Dr. Ruth Westheimer's new movie about the Bedouin community in Israel, Shifting Sands
  
• A post-event wine and cheese reception with an opportunity to personalize and donate books to a Bedouin community library in Abu Krinat, Israel
