"Queen of the Gilboa Journey" is a pioneering initiative of the Gilboa's Women and the Gilboa Regional Council that has been held for a few years in order to express the women power and the ability to lead to a social change in the spirit of tolerance and coexistence.

"Queen of the Gilboa" has become a traditional event in which hundreds of women from across Israel and the world will embark upon an extraordinary two-day journey.  Jewish, Muslim, Christian and Druze women aged 20 and older will team up, traversing northern Israel competing to earn the title of "Queen of the Gilboa".  Each team will need to complete different challenges (testing their cognitive, physical and social abilities) in order to find out their next destination.

The two days activities of the "Queen of the Gilboa" are fully funded by the Gilboa Regional Council.
