2 Peoples, 2 States, One Future: A Conversation with Ead Saleem (Deputy Mayor of Gilboa), Qaddoura M. Qaddoura (Governor of Jenin) and Daniel Attar (Mayor of Gilboa)

Once one of the most dangerous and violent cities in the West Bank, Jenin was the scene of frequent battles and the hometown of more than two dozen suicide bombers. Today, it is the epicenter for a breakthrough experiment in the West Bank. Designed by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, this initiative builds the foundation for increased Israeli - Palestinian cooperation and an eventual lasting coexistence.

Together Danny Attar and Ead Saleem have built cooperative efforts with the Palestinian governor of Jenin, Qaddoura M. Qaddoura. We welcome these heroic partners to the United States and our local Jewish community. We support their warm relationship and plans for economic and social development.
