Jaffa Mosaic Photography Exhibit at the JCC Opening Sunday, September 18 and running through October

The Jaffa Photography Mosaic is a stunning exhibit showcasing the photographs of 10 Jewish, Muslim and Christian Israelis of varying ages who use photography to raise social consciousness and serve as a bridge between the Israeli Jewish and Arab communities of Jaffa, a mixed Israeli city that encompasses a variety of identities and shines a spotlight on the complex social and economic issues its residents face. The photographs of the workshop's participants, all Jaffa residents, represent, in their own way, the city's unique urban tapestry.

These women are all united in their attraction to the art of photography, in their desire to get to know each other, and in their drive to influence the place where they live.
