The Inter-Agency Task Force on Israeli-Arab Issues proudly presents the Jaffa Mosaic Photography Exhibit, an inspirational photographic journey into the heart of a mixed city in Israel. The Task Force is bringing you the opportunity to experience the photographs of ten women who document their successes and challenges through the lens of a camera.
The participants, ages twenty to sixty, come from Jewish, Muslim and Christian backgrounds. Each photographer deals with different issues in Jaffa and all ten cope with and try to overcome struggles they face as women under sometimes difficult circumstances. The women were united by their affinity for photography and their desire to get to know and understand each other and influence their home town of Jaffa.
For the first time in North America, this insightful exhibit offers an glimpse inot the photographers' personal lives, revealing personal and social relationships, and the majesty and hardships of life in their mixed city.
