A seminar and symposium on "Teaching Islam to Jews and Judaism to Muslims in Israel" was held in coordination with the Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel (ICCI), the Nehemia Levtzion Center for Islamic Studies of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The seminar took place on June 21, 2009 at Al-Qasemi College in Baqa el-Gharbiyya.

This is a follow-up seminar to the highly successful one which took place in November 2008 in Jerusalem. Following this day, working groups will continue to meet to develop policy recommendations and action plans for the future.
