The trip focuses on:

• The history of the kibbutz movement; its influence on the design of the state of Israel to changes from cooperative life to privitization and new collective beginnings.
• Development of the kibbutz idea over time dealing with issues of social justice, equality and participatory society.
• Hashomer Hatzair/Givat Haviva in Israel.
