As a reminder, here are the ways that you can help make "With Earth and Each Other" a major success -
1) Join the event mailing list: While the full event website will not be launched until August 2, a placeholder website is already live at www.withearthandeachother.org. Please visit this site and sign up for the event mailing list. (Just being on the Friends of Arava mailing list will not automatically put you on the event list.) Please encourage friends who you think would be interested in participating to sign up as well.
2) If you are on Facebook, "like" the event Facebook page: For Facebook users, you can become a fan of "With Earth and Each Other" by clicking
and then clicking the "like" button on the page. Once you do that, please share with your Facebook friends and encourage them to "like" as well. (We'll soon be "tweeting," as well, which you can follow by clicking
3) Recruit Partnering Organizations: Friends of the Arava Institute is inviting other similarly-minded organizations to join in as Partnering Organizations for the event. Being a partner doesn't require much but will add significantly to the event's strength. Partners will also be eligible to submit a video about their organization for consideration to be included in the webcast. The partnering organization agreement can be found here. If you are involved with an organization that you believe should be an event partner, please encourage them to sign up prior to August 2, so they can be included in the initial launch.
4) Identify a Rally-Hosting Organization in Your Community: Friends of the Arava Institute will be providing the event webcast but will be relying on local partners to stage rally watching events throughout the world. Please help find an organization in your community willing to host a rally-watching event (or even host one yourself!). For the Rally-Watching Host Organization Agreement, click here. Once again, host organizations signed up by August 2 can be included in the public launch.
5) Identify a Potential Sponsor: Friends of the Arava Institute is offering sponsorship opportunities in conjunction with this global event. If you know of a business or organization that might be interested in serving as a sponsor for "With Earth and Each Other," please direct them to email sponsorships@weaeo.org.
Thank you so much for your support and participation. Together, we can make "With Earth and Each Other" a massively positive and successful event.
