Sport is increasingly part of social and development work in Arab communities in Israel, as well as a part of the corporate social responsibility practices of private businesses, foundations and other benefactors.  We are anxious to explore the potential of sport in benefiting the Israeli society as a whole. The Freddie Krivine Foundation was created in 1998 to promote co-existence and equal opportunity in Israel through tennis. It encourages Jewish and Arab children to play tennis in a variety of programmes across the country, with new projects opening every year. Now, after more than a decade, the main emphasis is still to introduce Israeli Arab chidren to tennis, and through tennis to introduce Jewish and Arab children to each other.
