Center for Jewish-Arab Economic Development 'Kulanu' Festival

Aug 6 2009 - Aug 7 2009 -

On August 6-7th the Center for Jewish-Arab Economic Development (CJAED) invites everyone to attend "Kulanu" - a festival of Jewish and Arab products, business and culture.

Following the success of last year's 'Ahat-la-Ahat' festival, this year the Center for Jewish-Arab Economic Development has partnered with the Prime Minister's Office to expand the event to accommodate a greater number of businesses from all sectors and all parts of Israel to showcase their products and services to the public. In contrast to last year's fair, the 'Kulanu' fair incorporates both women-owned and other Arab-owned businesses in Israel. Tens of thousands members of the public are expected to visit the festival over the course of the two-day event.

At this meeting of rich and diverse cultures, 200 women-owned businesses from Jewish, Arab, Druze and Bedouin communities from all over Israel will showcase a unique range of products and services including jewelry, furniture, home-made goods, food and Hi-tech products and services. Additionally, a further 100 other dynamic businesses from Israel's Arab sector will also participate in the festival. The excitement and buzz of 'Kulanu' will be complimented by a vibrant array of shows and performances by various musicians and artists.

'Kulanu' is a partnership event brought to you by CJAED, Jasmine: The association of Businesswomen in Israel, the Authority for the Economic Development of the Arab, Druze and Circassian sectors, the UJA Federation of New York, Hadassah and Shalom-Salaam.
