Danny Atar, Mayor of the Gilboa, and Eid Saleem, Deputy Mayor of the Gilboa, have made positive Arab-Jewish relations in the Gilboa region of Israel a top priority. This is a rural area with a population of 30,000 that is 40% Arab and 60% Jewish.  Mr. Atar and Mr. Saleem have also worked diligently to promote social and economic development initiatives across the green line with Qadoura M. Qadoura, the Governor of Jenin. The speakers will share their accomplishments, challenges and plans for the future. This is a special opportunity to engage these officials and discuss the broader implications of the unique relationship they have established.
