Dear Friends of the AJCC,  

Understanding and experiencing the different religious and cultural practices of a neighbor is a cornerstone of authentic coexistence. In Jaffa, the Arab Jewish Community Center embodies this belief by hosting annual joint Muslim, Christian and Jewish holiday celebrations, in addition to its recurring activities and programs.   In this spirit, it is my pleasure to invite you to the AJCC's Annual Iftar Feast, on August 30th at 7:00 pm.    Hundreds of Jews, Christians and Muslims from all over Israel will gather to learn about the Muslim holiday of Ramadan and break the fast together. Members of government, spiritual leaders, foreign dignitaries, and the local Jaffa population will have the opportunity to demonstrate and live real coexistence, and it would be our honor for you to join us.   Please send your RSVP to Cecilia at this email address (cecilia@ajcc-jaffa.org).
