AlYater was founded in 1996 by Arab graduates to address the social inequalities experienced by Israel's Arab Palestinian community that have been caused by institutionalized neglect and discrimination. We believe that by empowering Arab Palestinians to demand equal rights, and by instilling a healthy pride and sense of belonging, we are putting our society on a stronger footing.
